Don Wrenn of Southern Sports Photography
Hi, I’m Don Wrenn. I was born somewhere, and then grew up. Along the way, I went to college where I learned about important things. Then I lived in different cities and worked for different famous and important people. Then I ended up where I am now, Nashville, Tennessee.  I have had a camera since I was 16; I stole my dad’s Pentax camera and started shooting.

I shot my first professional gig when I was 20 years old for a major Christian band out of Jacksonville, Florida. Photography has been a passion ever since.  Currently, I do have a daytime job-I am a Commercial Sales Manager for a fortune 200 company…it’s hard to give up the paychecks, company car and benefits! But I’m also the co-owner of Southern Sports Photography LLC, one of the fastest growing sports photography companies.  I’ve been an action photographer since 2005, but for the past year I’ve exclusively been doing T&I.  In my spare time I like to work, and my hobbies are work, family, coaching football and more work.

Jonathan Reiss of NY Sports Pics
I have been a photographer for 35 years - the first shoot I was paid for was a World Wide Wrestling event at Nassau Coliseum in NY; I was paid $25.00. I’ve shot pro and NCAA sports for the past 25 years, I’ve worked for the Mets and Jets, and I also work many high-end celebrity events.

I started NY Sports Pics in 2005 as an action photography company, selling game action online. When I saw where the market was leading – to parents able to purchase fairly inexpensive DSLRs and lenses and taking images from the stands, and also as sales dwindled, I made the switch to T&I in 2008. It started with one league, and now we’ve grown to 24.

I also have a full time job; I work as Store Operations Manager for a large professional beauty supply company with 23 locations across NY and NJ.

Chris Murphy of Showstopper Photography
My name is Chris Murphy and I have been a photographer most of my life. As soon as I was old enough to hold a camera, I was taking pictures.  So naturally, as I grew up, I was the one who was always behind the camera documenting all the precious moments in my family and friends lives.  Through years of practice, training and study, I have learned and perfected the technique that I use today to create beautiful, relaxed professional portraiture.  Having been both in front of and behind the camera most of my life, I have learned how important it is to create a relaxed, casual atmosphere for a truly rewarding portrait experience been a professional photographer for over 20 years.  My company, Showstopper Photography, Inc. specializes in 3 markets:  Schools, Dance, and Sports.  I love sharing my knowledge with others; I enjoy helping others succeed by sharing how we retain accounts and build relationships with new ones. The school, dance, and sports markets are changing constantly and ongoing training- both mine and yours- is critical to our success!

I love the training & teaching side of the business. It is focused on things that interest me photographically and things I am currently working on. My mission is to help you become a better and more passionate photographer.  I blog on photography tips and techniques, industry trends, and whatever else I might be working on at the time; I also post many how-to articles at www.mikeluter.com.

Chris Blythe of Desktop Darkroom

Hi my name is Chris and I’ve worked at Desktop Darkroom since I was a baby. I’ve also had the same haircut since birth. I am from Jacksonville, and I go to one of the same 5 restaurants with my friends every Wednesday. I have not been to Cici’s Pizza yet, although I do plan to in the future. I’m a pretty popular dude, typically, when I enter a place, I know at least one random stranger. I like to travel, and I LOVE space. I’d like to visit and possibly live on the moon one day. I aspire to one day getting married and having at least 6 kids with my work B.F.F., Shellie, even though she hates kids.
